Shake the Devil, an Anthem for the Occupy Movement

"Shake the Devil" lyrics
Fine tailored suit, bloodstain on his White collar
He'd cut Somebody's job to make a few more dollars
That Man, that Man, oh that Man
That Man, that Man, oh that Man
Who's that Woman- you've seen her on TV-
Made quite a fortune from her company
While all the work was done by People making pennies
That Woman, that Woman, that Woman
That Woman, that Woman, that Woman
It's time for The Haves to meet The Have Nots
Give a little of what they've got
Let's kick the money changers out of the Temple
It's true the Love of Money's the root of all evil
We sold our souls for little bit of dough
to thieves who stole from the starving
What can we do? Do what we can!
When you're faced with a choice you're either
Taking a Stand or Shaking the Devil's Hand
Who's that man with perfect hair waving his hand
Selling smiles to the highest bidding Corporation
He thinks the Golden Rule means to Rule in Gold
That Man, that Man, oh that Man
That Man, that Man, oh that Man
Who's that man with the Bible in his hand
Charging an entrance fee to the Promised Land
Says,"Blessed are the Meek!" then drives off in a limousine
That Man, that Man, oh that Man
That Man, that Man, Lord that Man
It's time for The Haves to meet The Have Nots
Give a little of what they've got
Let's kick the money changers out of the Temple
It's true the love of money's the root of all evil
We sold our souls for little bit of dough
to thieves who stole from the starving
What can we do? Do what we can!
When you're faced with a choice you're either
Taking a Stand or Shaking the Devil's Hand
Who's that Woman working PR for the plant
Children's health takes a backseat to her job security
It's more cost effective to poison the air they breathe
That Woman, that Woman, that Woman
That Woman, that Woman, that Woman
Who's that Man drilling for Oil in the Sand?
Does he have a purpose? Does he have a plan?
Ransom their their treasure for the highest price they can demand
That Man, that Man, oh that Man
That Man, that Man, Lord that Man
It's time for The Haves to meet The Have Nots
Give a little of what they've got
Let's kick the money changers out of the Temple
It's true the love of money's the root of all evil
We sold our souls for little bit of dough
to thieves who stole from the starving
What can we do? Do what we can!
When you're faced with a choice you're either
Taking a Stand or Shaking the Devil's Hand
Shake the Devil...Shake the Devil...Shake the Devil

Lyrics to "It is Well" by Troubadours of Divine Bliss
Take this hurt, empty this cup
I've been drinking from it long enough
Let it spill all the poison that it holds
I am thirsty but not for this
I can taste on my lips
the sweet nectar of letting this all go
Lift me up, Make me well
So in my heart Love may dwell
Make me well, make me well, make me well
Lift me up, Make me whole
Make me peaceful in my Soul
It is well, it is well, it is well
Take this anger and it's clenches
There's no safety in these trenches
Let this battle finally be won
I want to fight for peace not war
Wield my sword of truth but only for
Opening and letting this all go
Lift me up, Make me well
So in my heart Love may dwell
Make me well, make me well, make me well
Lift me up, Make me whole
Make me peaceful in my Soul
It is well, it is well, it is well
Take this fear from my head
I want to wear a crown instead
Filled with jewels of compassion,
courage, grace and love
Move these mountains, lift these veils
I haven't lost, I haven't failed
I've been forged, fired, revealed
I am healed
Lift me up, Make me well
So in my heart Love may dwell
Make me well, make me well, make me well
Lift me up, Make me whole
Make me peaceful in my Soul
It is well, it is well, it is well
