Troubadours of Divine Bliss   This song was written by Americans of all backgrounds- Democrat, Republicans, Independents, Tea Partiers, old, young, various races and sexual identities, women, men, many faiths- all in response to a post on Facebook  “If we all wrote  a song to America, right now. What verse would you add?"

America, my heart is shattered.
Democracy and forefather’s dream battered.
America, your beauty, defiled by faces of hate- this is not our Destiny. This is not our Fate.
We must be the country we promised to be. Where all are created equal. All born free.
America, your dead are rising from graves- the greedy still rob, kill and enslave.
  America, the First Nation is Rising, America, Black lives are Rising. America,  Dreamers are Rising. America, Women are Rising. 
America, we are the ones leaving this country to our daughters and sons
And it hurts to know how far we STILL have not come.
